YB Tuan Chiew Choon Man, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), made an official visit to the Food Festival, Craft Booths, and Traditional Gasing (top spinning) activities held at the Malaysia Tourism Centre (MaTiC). The visit was accompanied by Encik Mohamad Nawwar Faiq bin Mohamad Noh, Director of MOTAC Kuala Lumpur/Putrajaya; Encik Mohd Akbal Setia, Senior Director of Advertising & Digital and Head of Secretariat for Visit Malaysia 2026; as well as Encik Sufian bin Zainuddin, Director of Tourism Malaysia Central Region.

The purpose of this visit was to observe the implementation of ongoing programmes and to gain closer insight into the involvement of creative industry players, local entrepreneurs, and the community in preserving and promoting the nation’s cultural heritage. The presence of this delegation reflects the Ministry’s continued commitment to strengthening culture-based tourism, arts, crafts, and traditional heritage—aligned with the aspirations of Visit Malaysia 2026 and efforts to enhance Malaysia’s tourism appeal both locally and internationally.
